Carnitas

Ingredients
- 3-4 lb Boston butt pork roast
- 1 1.25 oz. package taco seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 1 x 4 oz can whole green chiles
- 1 cup water
- flour tortillas
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- avocados
- limes
- scallions
- cilantro
- sour cream
Directions
- Put pork, seasoning, chiles, onion & garlic into slow cooker. Add water.
- Cook covered for 6 hours on high, 10 hours on low covered or until pork can be shredded.
- Shred with forks. Return to cooker with 1 cup of the juice.
- Serve on tortillas topped with lime juice, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, scallions, cilantro & sour cream.
