Beef & Tomatoe Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb flank steak, sliced
- 2 1/2 Tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 1/2 tsp corn starch (dissolved in liquid from wok)
- 2 tsp sugar (divided)
- 5 1/2 Tbsp peanut oil
- 5 medium tomatoes, quartered
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 green onions, sliced into 1″ pieces
Directions
- Combine beef with 1 tsp sugar & 1 1/2 Tbsp oil. Set aside.
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in wok & stir fry tomatoes for 1 minute.
- Remove tomatoes. Stir in 1/2 tsp salt & 1 tsp sugar. Set aside.
- Clean wok.
- Heat 3 Tbsp oil & stir fry beef for 3-4 minutes.
- Add corn starch, tomatoes & green onions. Stir until hot.
Notes
Use a better cut of meat for a upgraded meal. Consider using 1 1/2 tsp of corn starch.
